There are no instructions that I could find, so while it's a super easy installation, I figured these pictures give you an idea of how this works.Super easy and quick to install. Added just enough length to make the installation work. Saved me a LOT of headache! So thankful that I found out this exists!

I recent remodel of my shower created a deeper rough-in. I was prepared to open the wall from behind to adjust the plumbing and my boss said there might be an extension kit. Sure enough there was. Saved me time and money.

remodling the bathroom and the shower valve ended up too deep in the wall for the normal install package. this saved me from having to open up the back side of the wall to move the brace forwards. works extremely well, was slightly tight at the start of use but loosened up rather quickly for normal operation

For whatever reason, sometimes a valve gets roughed-in a little too deep in the wall. This kit will correct the situation in about 10 minutes provided that you are no more than 3/4 inches off with the original rough-in.Shut off the water supply to the valve, remove the handle, escutcheon, and the 3 screws holding the cartridge to the valve body, install the new part between the cartridge and the valve body, insert and tighten the 3 longer screws supplied with the kit, and re-install the escutcheon with the longer screws also provided. Put the handle on, turn the water back on and the valve is ready to use again.
