I had the worst time installing this item. I have installed power steps and the bed step. The bed side step 2 for the Tundra has the worst instructions imaginable. You can install on driver side or passenger side and the are many places to get turned around and backwards. The pictures are no help at all you can not tell the orientation the vehicle or the step is in the images. Install took way too long just trying to figure out how how to look and piece it together. I am vert disappointed AMP is trying to save money on not giving full instructions on driver side or passenger makes not sense. Then not zooming out on the install images you have no idea what you are looking at. Even online color instructions would have helped a little if you do not want to print them.

The instructions are not adequate for the average buyer that doesn't install this type of equipment on a regular basis.

Almost impossible to install. The instructions are very unclear. I have worked on vehicles for over 12 years, I know my way around a wrench. There are no applicable pictures to aid in directing you through the confusing instructions. I also reached out to the company for any further diagrams or help and they recommended that I take it to a body shop to have it professionally installed.

This is a high quality product. Works and looks great on my 2018 Tundra Crewmax. The video on this page is not the correct video for a Tundra Crewmax. The installation is more difficult than the video shows. You may want to go to Amp Research home page, and download the pdf for this model on installation. I ended up using a local body shop to do the install.

We love the steps. We did, however, have a mechanic install them. Worth every penny to have the mechanic install them. Love the product.
