Pipe threads are cut to deep and pipe nipples will not seal. I had the same problem with 2 of these. I had to disassemble 3 days of work once I charges the system and found out that these would not seal. DO NOT BUY

Beats the heck out of soldering when you can thread a fitting on and be done with it and not have to worry about the heat deforming the seat.

This would a good product if the threads were cut to right length. the joint itself seals good with the soft washer inside. I had to grind about an 1/8" off ends to keep the pipe fittings from bottoming out.

We like that you had it to us quickly, it works very well, and being brass won't rust in the application we're using it in like black pipe.
