I should have returned them. Too heavy. I left them in Cancun.

Good compact fins for travelling. A little wider than I was expecting but not really a problem.

Yeah, I like them. I have greatly improved my swimming speed. They pack very well in my backpack when I go to the pool The downside? The heel strap gradually rides down, but I have the minimum size foot for the pair I bought. It's not much of an issue, and I think I made the right choice in purchasing the adjustable type. All-in-all, I'm pleased with them.

Bought to replace long-lasting, same brand/style pair. I bought adult medium. My feet are average width - 9.5 in sandals, 10 in shoe, 10.5 in athletic footwear. The fins fit comfortably with the adjustable ankle straps opened as far as possible. No problems with the ankle buckles popping open. I like that the ankle straps are shorter than in my previous pair in the same size. Before buying this brand I tried several name brand fins which too quickly split on the top of the foot opening. Gorgeous blue color also a plus for me!

My feet are too wide for size 13, and I were a size 12 shoe.

AS a scuba diver of more than 1000 dives - 30 years I have used a wide variety U.S.D. equipment - Two things the sizing is wrong - no way these are good for men size 9 way too small. ( doesn't matter if you get large identical to med. ??? 2 - the latch system for the strap - good thing these fins float as the latch system constantly fails letting the strap slip thru- be prepared to loose a fin. The power from the fin is great for its small size. Great fin other than strap issue - it is not just one buckle issue have had all four release in the same manner no matter the attention to putting on. Did manage to make it work using plastic tie wraps to lock buckles - hooky but works

I like the compact size and the buckles make them easy to get off and on, but if you do much heavy kicking at all, the straps come loose and pull out of the buckle. So that's pretty disappointing. If you're using them for just casual, lazy, slow cruising, you'll be fine. If not, find another set.

Difícil de colocar los broches, el peso y el tamaño es bueno, pero muy difícil de abrochar especialmente antes de entrar al agua.

I have some regular length ScubaPro split fin snorkeling/diving fins that I love, but I have had some ankle and achilles tendon issues this past year and I wanted some smaller fins that would put less strain on my ankles when kicking. Sure, it means I could not go as fast, but we were going to be snorkeling in pretty calm waters and I could almost skip fins entirely. Also, smaller fins mean more room in my suitcase for other things. I purchased and tried several sets of swim (not snorkel) fins before our trip, but they really were for working out in a pool, making your legs work out versus helping you zip through the water with less effort (really aggravated my ankle issues, so donated those to the fin bin at my local pool). I ended up buying these US Divers fins and also the Tusa Sport Reef fins so I could pick the best, and both came right before the trip with no chance for me to try them, so I took both with me. The US Divers fins worked the best by far. Had a good feel when kicking and provided acceleration. I used neoprene socks with them and with the socks they were comfortable for snorkeling every day for 60-90 minutes, for 2 weeks. My husband tried them also one day (the ankle strap allows for a range of foot sizes), and he liked them. Neither of us liked the Tusa.I got the Tusa in blue and they were cute so I wore them on the first day, and they were just OK in feel but did aggravate my ankles somewhat. I was not sure I could snorkel as far the second day, but I switched to the US Divers fins and had no problems, a definite difference compared to the Tusa, and the kick felt much better and propelled further. I used the US Divers the rest of our trip and was very happy with them. They did not aggravate my feet and ankles and they had a good kick. Compared to my full length split fins, the kick had less power but on the other hand, the US Divers put less stress on my feet and ankles. And being shorter and lighter was a bonus for packing in a suitcase. One day on the trip, I did forget my neoprene socks and wore the US Divers fins without the socks. They did rub on one of my toes, so I'd have to recommend using them with some sort of sock or booty.

These fins worked well enough during a two-week vacation on Hawaii. I will take them on my next snorkeling vacation.Pros:They fit easily inside my 14" x 21" suitcase, and also inside a smaller bag I carried to the ocean.I had no trouble adjusting them and keeping them on my feet, though I did wear thin neoprene socks. These give you enough propulsion for snorkeling, even when diving from the surface.Cons:These have considerably less propulsion than normal, full-foot fins. I wouldn't wear them while scuba diving, or even snorkeling in a strong current.Lengthening the strap is something of a nuisance, but not a serious problem.

used these on my last 2 vacations. I spent at least 1-2 hrs a day snorkeling right off the beach. it was great to have my own equipment and not have to rely on rentals that someone else wore. These fit well and are easy to travel with as they do not take up much space in the suitcase. it is almost unnoticeable that they are not full size fins. Although after about an hour of continuous swimming, my feet did begin to feel fatigue from the fins and I think it is because of their (half) size. but it is something that I am definitely OK with as a trade off for the compact size.

I wear a 81/2 to 9 shoe and have a wide foot. These work very well for me. I am not traveling so much, but I am dragging them to the pool for workouts 3-4 times a week. They give me enough resistance to give me the workout I am aiming for without stress on the knees. They can really move you through the water for such short fins. The foot pocket is a nice smooth silicone, on and off is easy. A slimmer foot may need to add a sock or something to prevent getting the foot too far into the pocket, causing an edge rubbed ankle. These may work well for me while doing casual snorkeling, have not tried them in open water yet.
