This head has poor sound quality. Its coating comes off easily. It is a bad buy. Evans dual ply heads are far superior in sound and coating.

Got a 16" for my Hip Gig kick drum and it brought it to life. With a D6 it sounds like a well tuned 20" kick but has quicker response. Love the tone look and depth of sound I am getting. You want drop tuned punch with controlled overtones this is the way to go.
