We used this hatchery for baby guppies several times. The suction cups to hold it on the tank were very strong and secure.

It’s perfect up hold the babies in I had 10 guppy fry they I did an experiment since one of the fry were being stubborn I left it in the tank and put the rest in the nursery. They are thriving!I didn’t use it for breeding purposes as my guppy had been given to me pregnant but they were about a two to three days old and they didn’t slip through the cracks it’s perfect my bubbler is right under them and its just perfect it was exactly what I was looking for!

DOES NOT HOLD FRYI ordered this because one of our female guppies was clearly pregnant, and the reviews were not too bad. I caught the first fry and put it in. Out it came. The side slits are far too wide for guppies.DOES NOT STAY MOUNTEDThe suction cups are made of a week frosted rubber, which does not hold.BUY SOMETHING ELSE OR NOTHING AT ALLFor fry, order a netted frame instead, or just let nature do its thing.

Poor design. Suction cups not strong enough, the lid handle is small and hard to get my fingers in to remove the lid. The suction cups easily comes off from the breeder and I had to always attach it.
