Need to spend more time playing my Uke to get a better idea. But I like the tone I get with a lower string tone.

I originally bought a set to replace the strings on my 3 year olds ukulele. I was so impressed by the sound quality and the soft touch, that I bought a set for my own ukulele. It is nice having strings that are extremely close in size. I found with the soft touch that it was easier to play tricky notes especially at a stretch, as I don't have to apply so much pressure. Being so thin I was worried about durability but I didn't need to be.. my daughter being so young plays overlay hard and often grabs a handful of strings and lifts them haha, Yet no breaks.

I replaced the strings that came on my new RockJam Ukelele with these, but only because I wanted a low G tuning, not the standard re-entrant tuning of the strings supplied with the Ukelele. They were easy to put on, and sound great - and stay in tune (though that may also be down to how well they are installed). Love the warm sound I get from them. Easier to bend notes than other strings I have tried. Not too tough on the fingers either!Wouldn't hesitate to buy more of them.

It was my first time changing my ukulele strings from standard to low g. I am VEEERY happy with the sound! Took a bit to get on but they work great! After a few hours of playing some of the strings are already starting to hold tune. Make sure you give your strings plenty of slack when winding because some are slippery and you will definitely want a decent amount of string around the tuning nut, don't do what I did and cut too short. I got it to work out either way! Just makes it more easy to install to have more slack.

These strings will work okay on my ukulele, but I will still be looking for a better set. The strings are stiff, which makes them difficult to install. The sound is plasticy. The Good: I can strum and pick more aggressively when I want to really project the sound.

The string for the low g string is steel... nothing about it on the packaging. They only tell about how awesome the super nylgut strings are... but you get a metal one for the low g string. Sound completly different than the other strings.

These always do their job. Saw a film about this company somewhere. Excellent.

Great strings with clear tone. Nice tension too. They definitely don’t feel flimsy. I play more individual notes and melodies so it’s perfect for me.

Aquila's are my go to. I've been playing them for years and find that they sound so much better than anything else.

The strings are very nice, but there is a very definite difference in tone between the wrapped low-g string and the others. It mellows after a while, which is nice, but it's noticeable.

Feels like a quality string and very nice for Blues Uke which is something I enjoy. The strings show up nice on the fretboard backdrop.
