Plastic. No weight to it. Dampers are not very soft and rattle in their mounts. Unusable.

This stabilizer fits perfectly on my Sammik Sage recurve bow. It does exactly what I expect. Well worth the investment.

This stabilizer doesn't have much weight to it although it does dampen some of the vibrations. The reason for the light weight is because it's made from a tough polymer. Other than that, it's pretty decent in manufacturing. There were a lot of ding marks as well as dents to the plastic frame. It just feels like someone used it and dropped it a few times. As for the threading, it screws onto your bow easily without any hiccups. As for the rubber inserts, they sit very solidly throughout the inner frame. Overall, it is decent enough for the beginner type of archer, but this is not for the experienced. I prefer aluminum stabilizers with a great finish when hunting or just using my bow at the range because I know I can abuse my equipment, and I don't have to worry about failure. It's a great starter stabilizer no doubt but this is not for me.
