I watched you tube videos on how to install. Yes bumper comes off. Yes you have to disconnect a wiring loom. I’m a girl and I was able to install this in less than an hour. My son helped hold things in place while I worked. Minor mods to plastic

Love it. Thank you.
Looks Great Not as easy to install as it seems.

Took longer than 2 hours to install. The factory tow hooks had an extra bolt in the back so the whole bumper needed to be removed to install that was not mentioned in the directions. Also we have the capable bumper and I chose these ones so we would not have to modify anything but still needed to cut some of the plastic cover in order for them to fit after install. Looks great but it’s only been a few days so we will see how it lasts. Need more than one person for install.

This is a good solid product, but we had problems with installation. Then I tried to submit the information to register for the warranty and neither the website nor the email address are functioning. During installation, we had to remove the bumper to remove bolts from the back side in order to get the tow hooks off. This step was not mentioned in the product description or the installation instructions. Then we had trouble getting the acorn nuts on because there was not enough threads exposed on the bolts after putting on the washer and lock nut. We had to hammer the lock nuts down tighter to get the acorn nuts onto the bolt threads over the lock nuts. The plastic covers would not fit back on, over the the frame of the bull bar, so we had to cut notches into the plastic covers with a small rotary tool. The instructions do mention that you may need to cut the plastic covers, though. Overall, the installation was pretty quick and easy, despite the missing step of having to remove the bumper, which we were trying to avoid, in the installation instructions.

In order to get the factory towhooks off you have to remove the bumper completely and undo the 10mm bolts behind it. Also there is not enough threads to secure the bullguard to the mounting brackets. Instructions say to use the flat washer and locking washers, i ended up using just the locking washers. Whole install took me about 3 hours by myself mostly using simple hand tools. (My bronco has the modular bumper)
