At first I thought these would just make me warmer since they cover my arms completely. Turns out they are cooling, even without moving. When I am moving around, especially outside, they lower my arm temperature quite nicely. The cooling effect is actually pretty amazing, and sunburn protection is a smart move.I use mine for working in the yard and when I'm outside playing with the dogs. I even put them on while driving since I've been sunburned quite a few times right through the glass.I have fairly large arms and these are snug, but that's a good thing since I don't have to keep pulling them back up all the time.And, a 2-pack of these sleeves for under $9 is a good deal too.

I don't know what kind of mystical powers are at work here, but these cooling sleeves actually, really do work. The moment you put them on, you will feel your arms begin to cool. Out in the sun, even though they are gray, you still feel the cooling.I don't know how durable they will be in the long run, but so far, I'm really happy at how well they work.These sleeves in particular are a little tight, which I'm fine with because they don't fall down while I'm working.
