Installation was a nightmare. Instructions were hard to follow and there was no you tube video for help. Went to armordillo websit and also no installation help. I do not recommend.

I was very excited to get this installed on my 2021 Ram. It looked like it would give me some sturdy support in the front of my truck in the even that I had a minor collision of some sort. This bull bar is flimsy. I KNEW I should have bought the pre runner instead and listened to my wife like an idiot. I had it professionally installed, there’s no good looking way to route the sensor wires where it doesn’t look sloppy. And it took me so long to schedule installation that my return window closed. Very upset. And had to cut the air dam beneath my bumper to modify for installation. Gonna contact Armordillo and see if they will let me exchange for the pre runner since my parking sensors don’t work properly now anyway, go off constantly, and need to be disabled anyway. Will report back

There are several issues needing addressed: Although the product's packaging was done correctly, it was subjected to substantial abuse by the carrier. I was amazed to see the product only sustained a small smudge/scratch... My biggest disappointment came with my inspection of this product, welds were substandard at best ... it was as though no quality control measures are in place!!! Some would think, seeing the cost of this product, it would be of good quality, nothing could be further from the truth... this is why I would not recommend this product. One last thing with a name like "Armodillo USA" one would think it would be made in the USA , and not China! they should be ashamed.

What the instructions fail to tell you... is the 2 peices that go in between the grille and the bumper (not the lower tow hook slots)... you need to remove the grille and the coolant reservoir so you can slip the bracket under it on the pass side.. Idk how anyone could do it otherwise unless they seriously dent the coolant res by forcing it in or scratch everything up as they do it. It's not hard just takes some time and 30 screws to keep track of. Other than that great bar would purchase again.

The good: It is a very strong mount. It exhibits a beefy manly appearance.The bad: 1-Not all the holes line up.2-Not easy to install. Supporting and mounting brackets required disassembly of RAM 1500 frontendgrill and covers to permit brackets to be placed in the proper position and location. Very difficult for aone person's install in my opinion.3-Installed Grill interferes with front radar sensors even while not blocking rendering them not useable.I am a somewhat disappointed owner while gaining something, I lose something. This is very distracting from the produce.
