Your cart is empty.The white California ANUSTART License Plate is produced as seen on Tobias Funke’s VW Cabriolet in Season 4 Episode 5 of Arrested Development. In Season 4 Episode 5, Tobias Funke reads the “Eat, Pray” parts of “Eat, Pray, Love,” decides he wants “a new start” and gets the phrase “ANUSTART” on his license plate, which subsequently leads to many ‘Anus Tart’ jokes. Each plate is brand new, made in the USA, and individually shrink-wrapped.

My hermano-in-law recently moved, renovated his office, and launched a business, and this was the perfect way to celebrate all of his new starts! As soon as I felt the sturdy cardboard box inside the envelope, my patience and regard for presentation evaporated, and I unceremoniously shoved it into his hands without delay. Unlike me, he immediately noticed that the box says what's inside, but I wouldn't say that ruined the surprise. He held it above his head and ran up and down the hall yelling "Yessss!" for several minutes before either of us even laid eyes on it.As I suspected due to the robust packaging, the plate had arrived in pristine condition without a scratch. It's excellent quality all around. It certainly seems sturdy and damage-resistant enough to serve as a genuine vanity plate, although my sister seemed uncomfortable with the idea of parading it around in public for some reason. Luckily, it'll look great on display just about anywhere. The colors are nice and bold, just as pictured. This was an extremely worthwhile purchase and a great value.

Shipped quickly, in good condition upon arrival. At first, I couldn't figure out why people were always doing a double take when looking st my vehicle, then I realized they loved this plate and were trying to determine if I really liked butt stuff.

Metal and imprinted. Not as thick as a standard (WI) license plate, but proportionally accurate. Great color and quality. Could be substituted for an actual license plate. Off road use only though, of course. Great product for a fan, great gift for a fan, and a great value. Highly recommend.

Amazing - just amazing. I was browsing Amazon when I came across this product. I laughed - hard. At only $6 before taxes, I knew I had to get multiple. I bought one for myself and a fellow fan of Arrested Development. These plates were both high quality, durable, and genuinely stamped. I compared it side by side to my actual California license plate and was amazed by how realistic the replicant plate is. A definite buy for anyone who is a fan of Tobias' antics.

I was looking to make a new home for myself in California, and wanted a vanity license plate to reflect my happiness with my new change, and this one was perfect!I put it on my Mazda, and everyone seems to notice and be happy for me and my "New Start!" Lots of happy honks and stares and smiles.I was surprised to see that you could buy license plates on Amazon, but hey - I'm not complaining! 10/10 for A Nu Start!
