The controller is programmed so that the buttons are not all separate and distinct signals. This means if the game you want to play uses all of the buttons, this thing is worthless.

I bought this controller to play emulated GameCube games on my PC. Turns out I didn't need it. My Xbox One controller plugged into my PC works fine when mapped properly. Still a cool controller just to have laying around if I want the TRUE GameCube experience. Such an iconic controller layout. Worked great at a great price!

All of the bottoms have a good feel to them. I was worried about the response timing from the joysticks but they are perfect. Will be buying as gifts in the future

Only issue is that the main A button sticks sometimes. Not enough for me to take it apart to try and fix it, but just enough to annoy me. Only real complaint though.

Cheaply made, buttons feel.... off. Works as intended though so I'm sure if your gentle with it it will last you and it syncs right up to and computer.

This was tested on several computers including an M1 Mac via an adaptor, and an M2 Mac laptop. Several adaptors were used, and all worked with two other brands of controller. The controller showed up in the OS, but did not "control" anything on the Macs. This was also tested with both AMD and Intel based Windows PCs, with an Intel Windows 10 machine failing to detect it even with trying different drivers. Both an AMD and Intel Windows 11 machine were tried and this was detected as a gamepad, but was not usable as the other two brands tested. The D-Pad worked intermittently, and none of the joysticks registered. Several apps were tried including Steam games and Retroarch, with none of them having function with this controller.Apart from all that, this controller feels inexpensive, which is fine in my view given the price, and if it had worked (I got two of them and neither worked properly but had the same issues) I would have been fine with keeping them for occasional gaming with family on holidays.

I bought this knowing I was gambling my money and decided to take the risks. For me, it works great! But only because at the moment I am emulating Mario Superstar Baseball. A game that doesn't need the D-pad or the C-stick. Those 2 are programmed improperly and overlap with the face buttons and left joystick. Essentially, they are useless. It works and feels nice but if only they were programmed right. If you can work around not using the D-pad or C-stick than this might be for you! Most games on this console though, DO require both for crucial gameplay. Otherwise, STEER CLEAR!!!

This is a replacement after my other one had it due to several frustrations on some of the levels I played on MAGMML3 and it works good as the previous, plus it's translucent which is a thing of the 90s' which is the era I grew up in.Hopefully not to let some of the levels on MAGMML2 get to me too much

Using controller mapping software on my pc, I quickly realised that the L and R triggers only register when fully pressed (unable to lightly press, which is essential for many games), and also the c-stick doesn't register a left and right, only up and down. Controller shell looks nice, but feels really cheap. I could've gotten over the build quality if it weren't for the trigger / c-stick issues.
