Opened these up the night before packing for our family vacation summer road trip. Planned on sneaking them into my boys' backpacks as a surprise. The crappy packaging (planes stuck inside a plastic bag and wrapped around & around with clear packing tape) made it impossible to open easily, so I grabbed a scissors to cut the plastic bag and tape off. Once I removed the packaging, I realized that they should have used bubble wrap or *gasp* even a box bc the tail fin on one of the planes was completely snapped off. Snapped off? Diecast metal just snapped off? Noooo, that's crazy, right? These planes are advertised as diecast... Right?... Well. They're not. They're crap plastic. I would absolutely return them, but it's too late to get to the UPS Store now and we won't be home from vacation until after the return date. It's on me for trusting Amazon to not carry Chinese manufactured junk, especially when I was looking for US AIR FORCE model planes. Shame on me. They're going to take us over pretty soon and we're paying them to do it. Wish there was a "Buy American" filter on Amazon. (Why is there not?!) If you love your kids (and/or your country), then don't buy these.

Love that you can pull back and let go, have them "fly" across the room. Grandson loves planes and these are perfect for play.

Loved these! I actually purchased them to place on a birthday cake for my 5 year old. Worked great and he loved playing with them after!
