The threads would not always be centered or straight in when installed. Sometimes they would crush a little to one side. Leave yourself a little extra tolerance.

I always try to find the Astro brand Rivnuts whenever I need them. They work great, and they pair with the Astro Rivnut setter that I have. These work great and the threads are always clean. I would recommend to anybody that needs a lot of rivnuts on the cheap.

The only problem with the inserts is a thicker head than I'm used to. Some nutserts have a head that doesn't sit above the surface. These are much stronger.You need the Astro tool to install them as the plier type can't apply enough force to collapse the rivet.
