Prefers moist soils on the woodland edge yet will tolerate more sun in cooler climates. PPA Plant of the Year 2004.

This plant arrived very well packed with no damage to the plant. It easily adapted to its new environment and is thriving. It’s my favorite fern ofthe 3 types I have in my landscape

I was skeptical about purchasing live plants from Amazon but this seller did an amazing job packaging these beautiful, healthy plants. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to buying more from this seller. Highly recommended.

The ferns arrived quickly and were very well packaged. They were much larger than I expected and very healthy. They are a beautiful green color and exactly as described. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

I ordered a “Lady in Red “ fern from Green Promise Farms. Shipment and delivery were very prompt. As a hobby, I purchase plants frequently and Green Promise does the best job of packaging their plants in a way that is almost impossible to be damaged. The fern was in excellent shape and showed no signs that it had even been shipped. I have two pictures, one shows the plant still in the box after I cut the top part of the box off. This is my second purchase from Green Promise and I have been pleased on both occasions. I forgot to mention that I felt that this fern was a great value for the price.

Arrived packaged well and of a good size, but hasn’t thrived like the much smaller Japanese painted fern I bought from another nursery

The plant came in a wonderfully designed package that allowed air into the box for my lovely fern to be able to survive. I was happy that not much of the dirt had spilled out of the planter. My only minor complaint is that even with the wonderful packaging it was sent in, some of the fronds came in broken and a small amount of brown spots on one frond. Other than that, if you are looking for a beautiful fern, this is definitely the perfect place to get one!
