It works for the 88-89 preludes with a manual transmission. It might for autos but I have a 5 speed. It is a little bit longer than the sock cable, but it is manageable. I didnt put a dust cover/boot over the end that goes into the vss but I might be a good idea. It will also need to be lubricated as it comes dry.

Bought this for my 88 prelude, b20a5, and it actually worked! Like someone else said, it's pretty long compared to or, but just have to take a long route to the sensor to make it work. I just wanted to confirm for those that are looking, it does work on our cars!Anyways, the product itself seems good quality, not much to say it works and my speedo works again.

It was about 10" longer than the original, so I made a bigger loop on the transmission end. The original was a two piece unit with a joint in the middle whereas this one is a single piece. I had to remove and transfer the foam sheath and boots from either end. The description claimed that cable grease was included but I didn't receive any.

Used it on a Honda prelude fit perfect , stop that grinding noise that sounds like you need to change our brake pads -very easy to install.

I ordered this part for my car because it said it was a match for my make. When I got it I instantly noticed that both ends were different than my original part. Your return system worked very well just dont understand why your site said this part was an exact match for my car.
