This was the wrong part for my 92 cherokee 2wd with aw4 transmission. I had to pull engine again. I am older so I didnt get the engine back out for 33 days, ya 4 days past return policy. Make sure this is the right one for yours or your jeep will not run.

Two of the welds holding the sprocket on the plate we're not welded to anything. Also it's covered with welding spatter. Not something I want flying off around gears. Hecho en Mexico.

Lasted ~30 starts, teeth chewed down. I got maybe 2 weeks out of this flex plate. My guess is the geared ring is made in America. Sadly American made Metal is not what it used to be. American Businesses have had to cut corners in order to stay competitive with global suppliers. The American metal company that made the ring, most likely had to make it "cheaper" to remain competitive. I'm looking for a Chinese made plate now. The Chinese factory's are based on a newer infrastructure and have newer better factory equipment. And, Thus, Can provide a better product. And with lower labor rates, they can sell a better product at a lower price.

Thank goodness I got this in before the time posted. The teeth on my original flywheel had bent, and the screw holes were starting to chip away! It was clanking against my brand new starter, so I am very pleased this part came in and there was nothing wrong with it. I believe it has been in my jeep for a little over a month now... waited before reviewing so I could see if it would last. :)

It's been on the Jeep and hasn't given me any problems. I would suggest this over the Omix-Ada one. To me, it seems it's a little bit more robust.

Good quality, packaged well, looks the same as the oem that was on the jeep. Installed and work perfectly with timing sensor from the engine.
