Powered Adjustment Mirrors
Towing mirrors are equipped for manual or remote vertical and horizontal adjustment so as to provide appropriate coverage to drivers of differing height and seated position.
Heating Element
The mirror glass may also be electrically heated and may include electrochromic dimming to reduce glare to the driver from the headlamps of the following vehicles.
Manual Folding
It can be contracted when passing a narrow road section, which improves the passability of the car. Also can be folded up, which not only protects the mirror surface, effectively avoiding scratches.
Reinforcement Brackets
Reinforcement brackets are used for preventing vibration during driving.

I knocked the passenger mirror off of my husbands F150 single cab truck when backing up too close to a pole (OOPS)Only needed this part. Found this one and at a great price instead of having to take back to dealership that would cost 3 times as much

Ordered two of these mirrors. One of them was separating at the seam where the two pieces go together. I returned it, and ordered another one and it came with one of the mounting studs broken out of the plastic housing. I tried to use it because I was tired of not having a mirror. Needless to say, it broke off within a few days. JUNK!!

My son hit a post with his mirror and I bought this one to replace it. The hardest part about it was getting the door panel off. A youtube video later and it was on without a problem.

This mirror has the heated feature, but the plug works fine to replace the original unheated mirror supplied standard on my 2004 F-150. The original has an additional stud and nut to be removed, but this one bolts right up with no problem. Many thanks to the person that answered my inquiry regarding electrical/plug compatibility. No need to spend over 100 bucks for a new mirror.
