After waiting months for the price to come down I ordered the Auto Meter Gauge Pillar #12133 for my 2012 Mustang GT along with a Shift Glow water temp gauge. The gauge arrived fairly quickly but it took a couple more days for the pillar to come in. I opened the box and compared the pillar to the one in the picture. Naturally they didn't match so I investigated a little bit and found there were actually two (2) item stickers on the box. One on top of the other. The one on the top said item #12133. The sticker underneath said item #17104. The latter being the gauge pillar for a 2000-01 Chevy Silverado. So I attempted to "test-fit" the gauge pillar in my Mustang. Snatchurally it didn't fit at all. I called Auto Meter and they said it was Amazon's doing. So the best I can figure is someone out there is having fun plastering Mustang item numbers on Chevrolet boxes. It probably does seem funny to someone for a FORD guy to get chevy parts in the mail. Not sure what to do now. Wait for a sale by Glow Shift I suppose.
