I was sceptical on this unit. I do small engine repair and wanted to give more feedback to my customers other then just telling them the battery is good or bad. Being able to give them a recipt that has percentages of battery life and charge is a great addition. Screen is clear and instructions are verry helpful it walks you exactly what to do for all types of batteries. I can see having this unit in my tool box for a long time!!

I just received this unit and it works well. I hooked it up, selected my battery type, tested and printed! So much easier than having to do a specific gravity on my old generator battery. I switched to a maintenance free and so far, so good! I think it's well worth the investment, and not super expensive.

I own three vehicles and one recently experienced a no-start condition. Upon replacing its starter, I decided to get this tester to preemptively test all three vehicles' electrical systems. This tester provides multiple options to give the user a clear idea on the condition of the battery, starter and alternator. It provides, at the moment of a test, a reference baseline on the overall condition of the vehicle's electrical system, and it defines a plan of action to replace any -- or some -- of these components to prevent breakdowns.Conversely, it would also give the user an outlook where none of these components require immediate action. Periodic re-checks would define trends where action would be required.Unit is easy to use, affordable and the results are easy to understand. Highly recommended.

I like it it not only tells you the voltage of the battery it tells you how much life is going out of the battery which is a good thing it let you know that whether you need to plan on replacing it or not .

Never go to purchase a new battery for any vehicle you own without carrying this tool in your pocket. Don't take it for granted that a new battery on the shelf is good without testing it first. That's only one of the ways this tester will pay for itself.
