The name of my favorite tennis strings is Babolat RPM Blast. These strings have an octagonal form. They are for those guys who like to put heavy spin on the ball. It’s a co-polyester monofilament strings, which means that after every shot they will return in the same spots on the racquet. So, when a player hits the ball the strings are moving, and then after he or she finished a shot, strings recover on the same spots, and stay parallel to each other (you don’t need to move them after every point). In addition to this, a player has more feeling with thinner strings, but less durability.By playing with these strings I expect to hit the ball much faster and heavier. Also, by using the thinnest strings, I expect to have a lot of control and good feeling of the ball. By good feeling I mean that I will have more chances to play on the whole court, in corners, and not just in the middle. When I have good feeling of the ball, I have much more confidence in my shots, and this is what makes my game stronger. I also expect to restring my racquets more often, for some players it can seem not normal to restring their racquets at least once in two days, but it doesn’t really matter for me since it gives me more confidence.In addition to this, since these strings give you much more spin and your balls are heavy, it’s better to play with them on clay. Your balls will bounce much higher and this is what most opponents don’t like, and it will force them to miss. And again, by playing on the clay court you will have to restring your racquets more often than by playing on the hard court because ball has a lot of sand of it, and little rocks cut strings during the shots. It doesn’t really matter against what opponents you play with these strings, but maybe players who like to hit the ball won’t like to play with you because of high and heavy balls.
