I bought this keyboard to replace an original one that had many buttons sticking. This one seemed to be an improvement, but the space key started sticking slightly. It was extremely annoying. After a month, I ordered another on Ebay for a little more money. It was much better in my personal opinion. Maybe I got a lemon, I just wish I had noticed immediately and returned it immediately.

I bought this to replace a dead key on my Latitude E7440 laptop, which is now six years old.The installation process is simple and well documented in several videos on YouTube.The keyboard fits perfectly and installation is not difficult. The feel is good, though just a bit stiffer than the original. My big issue is that it is not backlit even though it's described as having this feature. I'm annoyed by this but will likely keep it because it's not worth the hassle of returning it and reinstalling another one. I see no indication that this is defect in this particular unit. It's correctly installed. The caps lock key lights up and all of the keys, the pointer stick, and the function keys work just fine.It's fine if you're okay doing without the back-light, but had I known this I would have picked one that it came as described.
