Just as advertised. It allowed me to install my new August smart lock.Seller, turns out this smart lock only has same size adapters so if the buyer's locktail is too short to fit the adapter (as I'm sure most are) then the only way to make it work is to buy your thick door locktail. Might be a nice niche for business.

Had an older lock (or a slightly different model, who knows) so had to use a grinder to take off about a 1/4 inch on the lock turning part but worked just fine. Probably could have searched longer for the exact right length but did not want to spend the time.
