This bare copper wire is suitable for use in crafts or for electrical grounding wire use. This single-strand wire is annealed for improved ductility and meets QQ-W-343 standards for uninsulated copper wire. It also meets ASTM B3 standards for annealed copper wire and complies with Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) regulations. This copper wire is suitable for use in crafts such as jewelry and weaving or for uninsulated wiring applications.

I'm hoping the product is still useable for me. I read the reviews after I placed my order. Figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and was hoping the broken ends was just a fluke. My wire isn't in nearly as bad of shape as some of the other reviews had posted, however this is still a problem.I make jewelry so I really need my wire not be a tangled mess when I use it.

I have ordered copper wire from different companies and Small Parts is by far Superior! I will order again and again. I hope I can find square copper wire from them but haven’t seen it yet. Best buy for the dollar.

I just spent at least 45 minutes getting the shrink wrap off of the wire on the spool. In the process I had to use tools to get ahold of the extremely thin plastic because it shredded easily. This in turn caused scratching and marring parts of the top layer of wire.I have yet to use the wire for weaving. Hopefully it will perform better than the packaging.

If you work with Wire in your jewelry, this is perfect. I transfer Wire from these spools to kumihomo bobbins to work. This is a good size for weaving, Viking knit, dream catchers.

I make prototypes and finished jewelry with wire. I've been using wire from Small Parts for almost a decade. It was the first copper I ever found in bulk with no coating, which is important if you patina or oxidize your pieces.The wire oxidizes and polishes *beautifully*!!! Check the photos below. :-)I really appreciate that the wire is wound on the spools so cleanly and evenly, without any stretching that I can see. Even though all wire has variations in sizing in spools, (especially dead soft wire,) this product has been consistently uniform. I create designs which sometimes require a bit more precision than most, so this was perfect. Viking knit is a dream with this wire.In all the spools and different gauges I've ordered, there was only one (in 30g) that had overlapped winding which needed 'untangling' - and it was just a small thing.I would definitely recommend any gauge of copper wire Small Parts sells - and would buy all of them again and again!

I'm using this for wire weaving jewelry, and WOW, is this a lot of wire for 20$. I plan to repurchase, and if your looking for an outstanding value for wire, this is the real deal.
