For those looking to protect their chainring and Bottom Bracket (BB) from rocks and root strikes, this product is a welcomed addition. This product is compatible with Sram DUB BSA bottom brackets to help convert older bike geometry without ISCG-05 mounting points to fit compatible bash guards, chain guides and tensioners. Relatively easy installation as simple as replacing the 2mm drive-side spacer on the BB but as mentioned in other reviews, the instructions left more to be desired. Personally running a FUNN Zippa Lite bash guard on a budget trail mountain bike build with this adapter and after seeing heavy use, still no issues. Something to note about making modifications, always remember the manufacturers don't add those logos just to hide them so when in doubt, make sure the logo faces (out) away from the bike frame to show off your masterpiece. Not sure if adding this would affect a manufacturer warranty but make sure to check with the bike manufacturer before making any modifications to your bike and be sure to have the correct tools on hand for any modification. With all of that being said, if you decide to perform this mod, ensure not to strip the bottom bracket and watch out for the BB threads as Sram DUB BSA BBs thread clockwise to loosen and anti/counter-clockwise to tighten on the drive side.

Probably not a big deal, but this item came used or at the very least refurbished. As soon as I removed the zip ties I noticed a couple little nicks on the inside of the adapter. It won’t affect its usage and will likely not even be noticeable to anyone except me, but it’s there... and it shouldn’t be. Accompanying hex bolts were in a ziplock bag; both the adapter and baggie were inside a larger plastic bag. It’ll do, and I appreciate the SUPER FAST shipping and solid price point.

I have an older Ellsworth frame (and love it) and swapped it to a 1x drivetrain. I wanted to protect my investment with a bash guard but the frame was too old to have built in attachment points. This allowed me to put on a standard bash guard and it's already doing its job. Good product, easy to install.

The adapter bolt holes are exactly the right spacing and it fits just like a bb spacer should which is great. However, the relief cone isn't quite deep enough to get the tabs where they would normally be on an ISCG bb shell. This is no big deal if you're just running a taco bash or chain guide, but im not sure it would work with a 2x bash set up.

Turns out I didn't need this product but the holes line up and go exactly where they're supposed to... so I would imagine this product does exactly what it's supposed to.

Aside from giving no instructions, the product just works. There's not much to it, to be fair, but the quality of machining seems good and I feel confident with it supporting my chain guide/tensioner/guard on an older frame that didn't have the mounting originally. My main recommendation for this company and to a buyer (if you're reading this) is to research how these are meant to be installed. Which way the "curved" edge is meant to face (toward frame or toward pedal) will affect how your guard fits and potentially how well this item locks in place.
