These staples pull out quite easily from soft wood like western red cedar. Perhaps this is true of all 1/4" wide staples. I really don't have any experience with other brands in soft woods. Also, it would be nice if these could be bought in smaller quantities. The price is not very high, but I'll never use up 5000 staples.

Excellent value! Staples are excellent quality. Not a single misfire and they are coated in addition to the galvanizing. Price is great. Each box was in an outer box, then the box was packed in a large box with cushioning material.
