Stainless steel brads that work well in my Milwaukee nailer, suitable for exterior use. They hold well and are scored at the ends for gripping.

These brads work like nothing else. Anything that is not 316 SS seems to rust in a matter of months here. These brads don't and there is no rust stain nor strength degradation after years. I've used multiple sizes here on the Oregon coast and cannot say enough!

Used these with the Milwaukee M18 18 gauge nail gun. Shoots two nails every single time. Useless.

Nails worked fine in my gun. No one stocks SS trim nails locally.

On appearance, these 316 stainless steel brad nails seem like they will work great...until I got them in my Porter Cable 790 gun. They continuously jammed. So, I compared them to my original Porter Cable brand 18 gauge brad nails. After some observation and paying attention to details, I note the following: 1) inconsistent nail head position in the nailing strips. Some heads were not strait up or plumb for lack of a better word; 2) Glue residue (which seemed to be the biggest problem) along the edge of the nails; 3) slightly shorter than a common 18 gauge regular brad nail. So, I scrapped off the glue residue on the nail at the end of the strip and found that the gun would run some nails: I scrapped the outside edge and right and left sides of the nail. However, the gun wouldn't run all of them. I figure it was the nails that did not have a plumb head that were causing the other quantity of jams. So, if you are a Porter Cable (PCC790 Type 2) Cordless Brad Nailer owner, I'd avoid these nails. They simply don't work.Update: Steelhead brand works fine in my Porter Cable gun. Part number is STB182SS for 18 Gauge 2 inch Stainless Brad Nails.

I bought these to staple back fiber cement siding and trim. I bought them because the description said for outdoor use. The package says “not for outdoor use” wth??

These stainless steel brads were unbeatable value. They performed well in both my nailers (Dewalt and Porter Cable), consistently. Compared to the home improvement stores, I saved about $40 a box by ordering through Amazon! Sweet!

I was very pleased to find this stainless 18 Gaige nail. I was unable to find any from other local stores. I'm ready to place my second order. Very satisfied.

Doesn't look like 316ss, but the proof is in the pudding.

I've used several hundred of these now with a Bostitch gun, and they never seem to bend or jam. I've decided it's better to spend a little more money on good nails like these rather than to be clearing jams all the time.
