I have a 2010 Yamaha F90TXR and the impeller and the metal house was to big. Boat is out of commission until I get the correct sizes.

Fixed my problem, but lasted just under 9 months. Not terrible, but it really wouldn't be bad to grab a couple of these to keep on-hand. It could have just been that I hadn't ran the boat in 3 months and the new impeller dried up or something, but when I took it out last weekend there was no tell-tale stream. May try an OEM one and see if it last longer, as I bought this just last September.

It was really fun breaking down a lower unit in 100 deg Texas sun just to find out that the impeller was too small to fit on the drive shaft. Super cool.

looks like a good quality product, however the eye on the impeller is just slightly smaller than the diameter of the shaft of the causing it to get stuck pretty good. I tried to force it in and that was a horrible idea. I ordered a second set thinking my original set was sitting on the shelf for a while and it might have swelled or something. the second set has the exact same problem.

So changing this out is not bad to do on your own. The parts were a perfect fit for my 2000 yamaha F100TLRY, I had never touched an outboard motor but there are plenty of videos online to help you get this one accomplished. Be sure to check your water lines, mine had chunks stuck in it from an impeller that had fallen apart some time ago, because the impeller I replaced with this kit was actually in good shape. I bought it used so there ya go. If you're doing this for the first time you may not think to check this. Good luck!
