Installed this past weekend.The gasket is metal with a sort of carbon type film on it?Some other brands have smaller guide pin holes that you need to slightly tap into place.This one fit perfectly without issue.If you're planning on replacing your plug wires or coil, go ahead and order this with it, you'll need it.Removing the intake plenum is really the only way to do either correctly.You'll fight with it longer than it takes to just remove the plenum.

I have ordered a few of these so what can you say about a plenum gasket except that it works, it comes well pacakged, and it arrives quickly. All three can be said about this one.

The gasket was what I needed. I've installed many of these on rover engines, this one did have the correct size holes for the locating plugs, most other gaskets the holes are too small. However I gave this four stars because it arrived bent up pretty bad, I was able to tap it down as flat as possible and try it, so far it seems OK. But it would have been nice it arrived flat. It was against a cardboard in plastic then came in a separate box, even after all that it was still bent.

It is a good gasket , it gasketed up everything real good . I have never seem a better gasket than this one , I nearly fell in love with it , but my wife caught me staring at it so that was the end of that. I went ahead and placed it in my 2004 Land Rover Discovery named Lady Rebeca and she loved it as well .P.S. I have a thing for inanimate objects. LOL
