Had intermittent stalling and hard starting, troubleshot myself, pointed to this sensor. Replaced sensor two weeks later stated acting up again, same issues. Took to dealer this time, they troubleshoot and replaced this new sensor. No problems after a year. Would not recommend this product.

This was purchased for a 2010 Subaru Forester non-turbo. I had the P0335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit) Fault Code and this completely corrected the problem. Once this sensor was installed, the vehicle started up on the first try. It runs much smoother than before as it is likely the original sensor was failing for quite some time. Very happy with the quality and price since it’s much less expensive than a genuine Subaru sensor. Will update if anything changes with the sensor in the near future.

Installed in a ‘06 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. Had many problems like poor fuel efficiency, sporadic inability to start, sporadic check engine light, and inconsistent idle. Changed plugs and wires and coil with no improvement. Did find two of the four plugs were fried, so was odd that didn’t help. Dumping the engine error codes pointed to a crankshaft position sensor malfunctioning. So got this item as the replacement. The part itself seems like an OEM quality, and fit nicely into the engine. It fixed everything.Initial testing shows fuel mileage has increased over 30%!! Check engine light stays off. Idle is now consistent. Decreased throttle response time and definitely increased acceleration! Car drives nice now, even shifts more smoothly.

I bought this for my 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5I Wagon. I had an engine light and found a 1/2" hose disconnected from the Chamber-Air Intake. Car has a new coil pack and recent tune-up. Symptoms were after it rained, crank no start. When you eventually did get it started. You had to let it warm up or it would have little power. There were codes but not for the CKP sensor. I had codes P0302 and P0420. When the engine ran fine. There was no rough idle or loss of power. I suspect I had two different issues. I think the air leak was affecting MAF sensor performance (triggering code P0420) and the CKP sensor was causing the No Start (triggering code P0302). The CKP sensor is located directly below the alternator. Two days of rain and three days later, no codes and no symptoms. I think I got it.

This part the Beck Arnley 180-0571 Crank Angle Sensor was purchased in conjunction with the Beck Arnley 180-0513 Cam Angle Sensor . My mechanic (Brother in Law) tested the car first to determine this needed to be changed. I have a 2008 Subaru Outback and the car part was accurately sent, fit perfectly and my car is running fine. It took care of the hard start, stalling issues, and restored to its OEM performance. Not to mention its a great deal for a part that takes care of getting your car to run properly.

My car runs great, the old sensor was damaged during an engine swap and this was much cheaper than the OEM.
