Not 14", more like 13" even after letting mattress sit out unboxed for 72 hours. Not firm at all but adequate for the price. Comfortable overall. Would recommend as a mattress for a guest bedroom or for someone who prefers to sleep on their stomach or otherwise needs a softer mattress and is not overweight.

I have bought quite a few memory foam mattresses and toppers and I had to say this is definitely one of the best .extremely comfortable. It was left out for four days to rise, even though it probably didn’t need that, but it is medium firm and extremely comfortable?You definitely can’t beat the value for the money great quality, no bad odors, and it fits the bed perfectly

Amazing mattress!!! Great price! Super sturdy but very comfortable. I would recommend this bed for side sleepers for sure. I went from having a memory foam bed to this and it was definitely a great decision. Big difference between memory foam to this bed. I wasn't happy that it came in a box because I thought that it wouldn't be sturdy but I let it sit for 3 days and omg amazing bed guys. Its thick, no noise and i Love it.

Bought this for our spare bedroom. Very easy set up. Great quality and love that it’s made in the USA! Our guests said it was very comfortable! Going to be purchasing another one for our other bedroom.

Bought this for my son after purchasing 1 similar for myself. This bed is super easy to set up. The size extended the full 14 inches in about 4 to 5 hours. The price was amazing. The firmness is not too soft not too hard. It's perfect. He loves it.

mattress is not as firm as it states. if your partner is heavier he or she will sink in.
