Wow cannot say enough about this beechlane fan, came with everything in order to install it on the access door to my rv fridge as well as mounting brackets . Super clean super easy to operate and so silent. Within an hour of installing this the back of my rv fridge was 10 deg. Cooler even in the hot arizona summer and I could already see it was making a difference on my absorption fridge. Well made the wire connections worked easily to connect and reconnect and the controller worked flawaless. After a dry run i ran the controller inside so that i could make future fan adjustments from inside the coach. I then proceeded to install another fan at the top due to how large the void behind the fridge was and let me tell you we are moving some air now. Thank you again beechlane so glad i chose you.

This unit is well-designed and incredibly functional. It helps get hot air off of the fridge heat exchanger and I think is a must-have for any hot-weather camping. The fan unit is solid and the controller is easy to connect. I found that it does not need to be at full speed to have what seems to be adequate airflow. Combining this system with an internal coil fan (i.e. inside the fridge to circulate cold air) has really helped keep food colder and make the fridge cool down faster. I can highly recommend this system and this brand! And support is AMAZING. So often I'm underwhelmed by support teams. I had an issue with power (under amperage on the first leads I used) and their team was responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable.I did find that the two-sided tape included with the unit was too thin to attach adequately when placed in the plastic recesses clearly made for it, so find some thicker two-sided adhesive if you plan to put the control panel inside the RV. Also, the unit moves a lot of air, so in dry, dusty climates be prepared to clean the coils and fans regularly to help them operate most efficiently.

The Dometic frig in our 2007 Monaco DP had a very difficult time cooling when the outdoor temps rose above 90 degrees. We would watch the frig temps rise into the 50s during a hot day. While we are debating whether to switch to a residential frig, we needed something to bring the frig temps down now, so we could quit throwing out food!Installed this fan with minimal difficulty. Set up the remote and within 24 hours, the frig temps dropped back into the low 30s and remained constant. What a vast improvement .Haven't noticed much noise, but between running the ACs and the Fantastic fans, it's ALWAYS noisy in an RV.Mounting was basically plug and play for our frig model. The size fit perfectly on the upper outside vent.We will have to see over time how the quality holds up, but so far we are very impressed.Minimal investment for marked improvement!

This fit like a glove with no modifications. Everything works great. Very quiet except when on the highest speed. Even then you can’t hear it inside. If there was anything that might have been better for my application it would be some simpler way to attach the thermistor that reads the temperature when you have it on automatic. I worked out something easy enough to place the thermistor high on the condenser coils. But mine is hard to reach. If my setup had upper and lower outside vents then it would have been a snap to place the thermistor, but mine has a roof top vent and I didn’t want to get on the roof. Everything is working as advertised. It controls fan speed and on off by the temperature around the condenser coils. I placed the remote in the back of the fridge compartment. I would have preferred to place it inside the camper but my setup just didn’t allow that. Anyway, I’m impressed by the product and glad I got this one because of ease of installation. Took me maybe thirty to forty five minutes to install. I did have to reverse the fan direction because I wanted it to blow into the compartment. It comes as if mounted at the top of a two vent setup and therefore blows out. The instructions should tell you at the beginning to determine fan direction. Then you can easily do it before mounting the fans. I didn’t come to that page until after I’d mounted it. It only cost me a few minutes. Definitely advise this unit for helping air flow in heat around absorption refrigerators.

I installed these fans to provide forced ventilation for the RV absorption fridge. They mount on the back side of the vent access cover. Thermostatically controlled. They induce a good draft up the chimney and improve the efficiency of the fridge unit.

While this is installed and works fine. the spacing on the clips was off and did not fit my vent for the Dometic vent properly. Doubly hard since it was hitting the heat exchange fins. So not only did it not fit the width on the vent I had to lower it slightly so the vent cover would fit back on. That made it harder to keep using the clips as it would be higher. I ended up using zip ties. It does run pretty much all the time during the day and I do feel warm air being exhausted out the vent. The bad:The clips don't work well on my Dometic Vent.Vent would not close since the fans were hitting the heat exchange. The good:Nothing zip ties can't help with the above cons. While not supper loud I can hear the fans when outside not not really inside.Overall I am satisfied with the fans as I can feel the warm air exiting the vent.

Works well and I like the automatic temperature sensing with variable PWM drive. Not 5 stars because it would only work in Max manual mode when the RV is plugged into AC. The 12V supply wiring to my RV fridge is supplied from a battery, which is fine but when AC is supplied the 12V from the on board power supply is relay switched over to an unfiltered full wave rectified DC. See pictures for the two states. (The RV has a Magnetek 6332 12V supply/charger). This fan controller sees the drop to zero volts 120 times per second and clearly it cannot tolerate it.This fan controller should have a 12V regulated supply built in for cases like this. That is what I needed to buy and fit separately. Note that simply using a diode isolated smoothing capacitor is enough to get the controller working but it results in the fans seeing 17-19V depending on fan speed which I did not feel comfortable with.

This fan is definitely not quite. Even on 50% speed it is noisy both inside the camper and outside. Fortunately it does cool the fridge to a safe operating temperature.
