It took me all day to figure this thing out as the instruction manual for it is basically worthless. Having never owned an edge banding machine, I was not able to tap into experience to overcome the instruction book. Had to figure out what the hose was for, what the foot switch was for, and generally how to make this thing work. Am giving it top marks for shipping packaging (wood crate, and protective foam inside...very impressive). The company needs to spend a few dollars in writing an instruction manual that explains clearly how to set up and use this machine. What's the appropriate PSI for the air intake? No clue, it's not in the manual nor printed on the machine. What's the foot pedal for? No clue, but found out it's for activating the cutter when in round-over mode. Once these issues were figured out, everything fell into place, and the unit works great. Having a computer do the translation from Chinese into English is a HUGE problem. Hope this helps.

When I got it the motor function did not work after preheating. I looked inside and found a wire hanging out and a screw missing on the feed switch. After searching through my random collection of nuts and bolts I found one that fit and took the chance that if I put the loose wire where the missing screw was it would work and it did. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it wasn’t assembled properly but now it functions.
