I work at a plastics injection molding company and was tasked with weighing and stamping the weight of some of our smaller molds. The company has the scale 15k and various stamps. The medium to large molds are very easy to stamp, however some of the smaller 100 to 500 lb mound are sometimes stored in a wire type cage on a pallet , making access much more difficult. So rather than removing from the cage I woul just weigh each one, write the weight on it and go to the next one, then come back and stamp the weights into them. The problem I ran into was the wire cage, about 40โ tall made it difficult to hold the individual stamp to strike it to imprint it into the mold. I hit my fingers a few times and found this on Amazon. Works great to keep my hands away while striking with the hammer. Some sort of quick clamp/release mechanism would als be extremely helpful to speed up the process.This is a great tool for doing a few at a time.

This tool will keep me from accidentally smash my fingers. I have not used it yet and it may not help me with my technique. But Iโm gonna try it.

Small nut strips out to easy , went through all 3 in no time needs a strong grade nut to hold punch in place..
