First off, let's talk affordability. This crankset won't break the bank, yet it delivers super high quality. I've been really impressed with how sturdy and reliable it feels, especially given the price. You know how sometimes you get what you pay for? Well, this crankset definitely gives you more. The look of this crankset is a big win too. It's got a sleek, attractive design that really stands out. It adds a bit of flair to my bike, and I've gotten quite a few compliments on it already.Performance-wise, I've had no issues whatsoever. I've put this crankset through a lot of tension and it's handled everything like a champ. No creaks, no wobbles, just smooth, solid performance every time.

I have used this BESNIN OTA crankset in the past as a replacement for the No-Name unbranded cranksets that ship with Entry-level fixies such as the MERCIER KIlo. They give you a stiffer and lighter crankset, and most importantly for the VELODROME, a crank that can handle the extreme forces involved in track racing. As well as the occasional spectacular crash. And come back no worse for the wear. What makes this crankset good for the velodrome also makes them good for street riding, BMX tracks, and the emerging e-bike market. They are built with Aluminum instead of steel. This makes them stiffer and shaves weight off of the drivetrain. They are super sturdy, with a 5-arm configuration, and designed to be fitted to the sturdy square taper bottom brackets. They come standard in a 170mm crank length with a 48-tooth chainring, one of the most common track configurations. And the cool logos make them look classier than something that's all black.OVERALL - If you can push a 48T Big Ring, you will fly on this crankset. Keeper!
