This product I'm sure will work fine, but its quality is quite low. The holes in the wood on one side which hold the lower plastic bee trap didn't line up, so I had to re-drill them using a 3/16" drill bit. Then, the plastic "receptacle" (liner) inside the wood bee box was too large, so I trimmed the bottom using scissors; and, the cutouts on top of the plastic "receptacle" (liner) didn't line up with the 3 bee entry holes in the top, so I had to trim the plastic receptacle enlarging the space for the bee holes. With 10-15 minutes of added drilling and cutting time, I now have a nice bee trap installed on my back deck. Overall, quite poor quality standards. I cannot recommend this product to anyone who isn't willing to do all of the work I just described to get a functioning bee trap.

It took a few days for them to trust the box but it definitely worked! I had a lot of carpenter bees all over my shed but now there are about 15 in the trap now!

Was able to catch one within the first 30 days without having to buy that scented thing to put in to attract them.

I was skeptical how well the product would work, but it has turned out to be excellent. The first place I put it didn’t catch anything so I moved it to another location and it’s now caught over 10 carpenter bees in our barn. Highly recommend it for this particular problem!

IT DID take a couple weeks to work and attract the bees. But worked well in the end! The bees were such a nuisance all around my deck. Happy to have bought and used! CAUGHT about 10 bees after the first couple weeks. Problem solved

I had almost no faith in this product but in the reviews, it worked for some people, so I gave it a try. I hung it up in the corner of my back porch on a cool, rainy day when I didn't see any carpenter bees flying around. The next day was warm and sunny - the bees were back. I looked out in the afternoon and to my surprise, there were two bees in the trap. More and more kept going into the holes, getting trapped and violently trying to escape to the point where I thought they'd figure out how to open the trap door. I think the buzzing got some paper wasps in a panic because they became very active, trying to figure out what was going on. One wasp went inside the trap to check it out - he's a goner. More carpenter bees are hovering around, lining up. I tell them to go inside, it's a club, join the party, those other bees are dancing, trust me. I almost felt bad for them until I see how they're tearing up the wood.

Did not attract one wood boring bee or any bee for that matter. Even bought the bait and it did nothing. Sorry for the negative feedback. I always give good reviews normally but this was a total waste of money. Bees fly all around it but will not even go in
