When you have the timing tool set on it from Massive Speed and it’s on TDC after bolting the harmonic balancer using the alignment bolt hole on timing cover. It will just need to be on one of the teeth when installing the sensor and this tool lines it up. Once it’s on a tooth and everything is lined up. Tighten it. Works perfect, my Focus ST started right up in time after a head replacement.

There are two different crank sensor timing tools this is one of them and then there's a round plastic one, great product it did exactly what I needed and I will be buying from this company again
