A must for working with veneers and melamine. Also excellent for use with dado blades. The product material is a dense foam. When I took it out of the package it had a bend to it. No way it would sit flat on the saw.

Works fine, sanded off the nubs a little, adjusted the leveling set screws so it was flush with table. Locked it in with the fence and raised dado blades (all of them) up into insert. It made a clean opening. Looks and works great. I have a left tilt, 10" Jet table saw.

Bought these (3) a while ago, and use them often for my dado blades set at different widths. Perfect fit with ,my Jet JTAS-10XL Table Saw. Excellent purchase.

Be warned what you receive is not what is picturedI have a Jet left tilt JTAS-10 left tilt and it will not work for this saw. The plate I received is machined to 1/8” around the edge. The picture shows 1/2” edge and would have worked. It is a disappointing fact of on line shopping. I should be use to it. I will toss this one in the trash and look for it from another company.

This insert was the exact item I needed to put safety back into my table saw. Old one was made of white metal and had broken. This fit (with minor sanding) my JET CTAS-10 "very old" table saw, as JET no longer carries any parts for these machines. I plan to order another one which I can customize for angled cuts on the saw. Also delivery was quick!
