We bought one pair to try as the price was great. Hubby was very surprised how will they fit and feel. Very comfortable to wear. Hoping they will hold up to his wear and tear but for our Florida weather they are very comfortable. We just place order for a second pair. Well made with nice wide straps, not the thin, flimsy ones that slip. Great buy

The website said to order your jean size...mine is 40". My current overalls are 44" and a bit baggy.I ordered 42" and 44" Big Smith overalls: the 42" do not have enough room to allow the free movement, so often critical in work environment. The 44" were not as baggy as my current overalls, but roomy enough for free movement, and I don't think the rear would rip out when squatting. It seems they'd still fit fine, even w/ a bit of expected shrinkage. Also room for a canvas work shirt under the bibs or longjohns top and bottom when it's cold.Other great features:1) I love the metal button closures vs. horrible flat tab metal closures on current overalls.2) The extra 2 small pockets on the bibs are very useful--I found no other overalls that had these on the bibs.3) also like the pocket versatility on bibs w/ 2 large pockets, each of which has a snap button to effectively divide each into 2 compartments, or to keep contents from falling out.4) There are pockets on side of both legs...not sure if the one on the side with hammer loop is what they advertise as cell phone pocket...don't remember other brands that have that side pocket, and it could also be very useful for extra tools. I generally keep my phone in one of the large bib pockets.5) Roomy front and rear pockets.6) 100% cotton and very nice tight-weave fabric. The only thing that wasn't ideal: while website advertises company was founded in MO, I can find no info on web about where they are made. I assume they are not made in U.S. (Bummer) or that would be on tags and online. If they are, Big Smith needs to get their act together and make this obvious!

I have wore overalls for the past 12 years and noting else.. No overall on the market fits as badly and uncomfortably as these overalls... I purchased them because they were the same price as my liberty brand and thought I would give their relaxed fit a try.. after a couple days of wearing the products because I did want to give them a try I am lucky I still have my man hood.. These overalls where so very uncomfortable in the man area I thought I may have to walk in my draws one day to get home... will not ever purchase these again... Big Smith? anything but Big

I wear a lot of overalls. I currently have, and have worn Carhartt, Key, Liberty, Dickies, and Walls. These are my first pair of Big Smith. Given that all brands have some pluses and minuses, these are the best overalls that I have owned. I like them to fit loose and comfortable, so as always I ordered overalls 4 inches larger in the waist and 2 inches shorter in the inseam compared to my regular jeans. They fit great. What I like most about them is the pocket arrangement. There are 2 watch pockets: 1 on the bib, and 1 on the waist, 2 pencil pockets on the bib, deep waist pockets, and tool pockets on both legs. Also, the pant legs are tapered (smaller at the bottom) so the pant legs are not huge at the bottom, which I prefer when riding my Harley, because large pant leg openings catch the wind, open up, and flap around when riding. The straps are 2 ply material, so they hold their shape after the wash. Single ply straps on some of my other brands come out of the dryer all wrinkled and bunched up, but these do not have to be ironed flat after washing. The only thing that other brands like Carhartt and Key have over these is that they are a heavier material. In total, these are the most comfortable, well fitting, and designed for my purpose, which is day to day work, and Harley riding.

I was surprised to find that the fit was exactly the same size waist in my husbands regular pants. He loves his new overalls and I ordered 2 more pairs for him after seeing the fit was perfect for him. The length was a little long but no different from his regular pants. I would recommend these overalls to everyone that likes overalls. He especially loved the striped ones I got for him.
