Worked like a charm. This product had to be used after a helicoil kit was used improperly on a first gen American Honda Fit. Use a brass instrument brush, if you have/can get one, after drilling with ANY kit. It will make your life much easier.

This kit is a little pricey but definitely gets the job done right and It still costs significantly less than a new cylinder head! Comes with everything you need to get the job done.

This kit was easy to use, and included all of the necessary items needed to ream, tap, and set the inserts. I was expecting to get a box full of tools and parts but was pleasantly surprised. Upon opening the mailing box, I saw it comes in an adequate hard case, and nothing was loose inside or rattling. All of the tools were neatly packed into formed spaces inside covered with protective, anti scratch covers. All of the tools were quality and the reamer was very sharp with no burrs. The included instructions were a hard laminated copy to allow for long term use and were very easy to follow. The kit made it very easy to properly fix a botched repair job on a 2002 mini cooper which is known for throwing out spark plugs. Received the kit in a timely manner.

This worked absolutely great. It was a lot of work to take things off the engine to make the spark plug accessible. But once that was done it only took about 1 hour from start to finish and was far simpler than I expected. I did not have to remove the head or replace it. Which saved me hundreds of dollars. Since I bought the full kit with multiple certsI, am ready should it happen again to me or anyone I know.
