This handlebar bag starts with a good concept, but its actual construction leaves me wondering about how long it will last. I suggest that you look closely at the pictures that I have attached to follow my comments. While I was just examining it, prior to mounting it on my bicycle, a panel on the inside of the top cover broke free from its stitching. I am left to wonder how long the rest of the bag will last? They needed to use a little more material and perhaps do double stitching on this panel, as it is meant to be an often-accessed panel. There are several types of Velcro. One type of Velcro strapping readily adheres to itself. Another type uses two distinctly different mating surfaces to lock together. With this type, each of these surfaces will not lock onto themselves. The Velcro strapping used by this bag uses the method of two distinctly different sections. The bag does lock onto the frame of my bicycle, but it has these hanging tags under it. Again, please look at the pictures. These hanging tags do not bother me, but they might get in the way of something else that I may later want to add to my bike. Finally, the bag opens from the top, meaning that you must run the zipper around the top of the bag. This method makes it a little difficult to open the zipper because you are working it, around the stem of the handlebars. I would have preferred that the zipper open from the bottom and that way entirely avoid the handlebar area.I can appreciate having my cell phone in the top of the bag for use with a mapping function. The bag has an opening at the rear of it, so that you can run a headphone cable into it or perhaps some other type of cable. The interior of the bag has room for gloves, snacks, small tool kit and other things. It is because of the stitching that I am giving this bag three stars.

With many bikes in our house, we have many different bike bags. This is our 4th one of this style. We all like that you can have access to your phone while riding. It's the smallest, holding a smaller phone and less items inside and the only one that isn't made with the vinyl outer shell. This one is more cloth-like, so it doesn't sit as rigid/firm. So if you want to pack this into another bag, it'll take less room. Also, it may not matter that the body is softer when your things are inside? It is also the only one that zips the opposite direction as the others. Seems backwards. (or all of the others are? ;o)This bag has an open, shallow pocket on each side. (see photo) The hook&loop straps are attached from the sides. (see photos. Instead of a circle from the middle). This gives more movement, but I have also complain about all of the other bike bags, not having a hands-free way to carry them, when they're off the bike. THIS bag, with the wider hook&loop straps, you can slide your wrist in, to carry it hands-free. (see photo) I like that! The front phone shield does work with touch, so you can use your phone. There's a wrap hook&loop on the back of the cover, inside, that holds your phone tight. The phone area is the widest part of the bag. (see photo) Pretty blue!Main thing will be your phone fitting, Then the important things, sunglasses, ID, snack bar, etc, should fit.

Could use a better mounting system or added velcro strap to hold it stable in one location but it's working for now.

I ordered this for my commuting bike; a cruiser-style e-bike. I realize that the product photos show this pack attaching to the bike's top tube, bit I was thinking that it would still be functional attached to the downtube. Unfortunately, the strap on the bottom is so short, it won't fit around anything more than maybe 1.5 inches in diameter. They could have made this so much more useful just by increasing the length of the strap.I can still use this on my road bike, but I don't really need it as much there. It also feels really cheap and not that well made, so I'd recommend investing in a better bag.

The handlebar bag works as expected. I hadn’t anticipated that my Android phone could not be unlocked when located in the bag’s cover phone pouch. My phone requires my fingerprint to unlock its screen. Unfortunately, the fingerprint reader is located on the phone’s side. As a result, only two phone functions are usable: navigation, which keeps the phone screen unlocked so it can be seen, and music or audiobook playing, which streams to my earbuds regardless of the screen’s state. The bag itself has sufficient room inside to keep a spare tube, tube repair kit, and several plastic tire removal levers. There’s also enough room for keys and a wallet. The primary negative is that the straps securing the handlebar bag to the bike frame are too long. It wouldn’t be a problem if the felt section of the strap, where the Velcro fastener locks into, was located along the strap’s entirety. Then the Velcro section could easily be shortened by cutting and securing it to the beginning of the felt-covered section. That would allow me to get a tighter fit. As it is, the bag will stay upright except for some leaning from one side or the other as determined by my most recent turn. This handlebar bag will get plenty of use as is; well, at least until a better design comes along.
