.. if you want to do it!Good quality item, I can't give an opinion on how well it works at this time but wanted to chime in that it is not a junk tool. Reasonable priced and free returns if you find it isn't satisfactory, so not a risk.

Ordered this camshaft lock kit prior to accomplishing a timing chain replacement. My Hyundai was mad and broke the timing chain guide in the engine. So I needed to replace the chain, tensioner, and guides, which is where this tool comes in. Thus tool locks the camshaft so they do not move while changing the timing chain. This tool saved my time by folds and made the whole ordeal a lot easier. Thus tool fit on to the camshaft exa try as expected and with the build quality I was not worried about the camshaft slipping.Overall, a very easy to use and useful tool

This kit is stated to cover multiple makes of Italian cars and as such not all parts are applicable to every model. For instance it has 3 types of cam locking tools, one for DOHC, one for SOHC using installed timing pulley gear, and one for SOHC locking in place from end opposite timing pulley gear.I have a fiat 500 with the 1.4 L multiair/ normally aspirated, so based on some yo tube browsing, I would be using the tool that locks the cam by indexing the teeth of the timing pulley gear.You should definitely research via youtube or by contacting the seller to make sure your model of motor is covered.I am not planning on doing my belt change until spring, so am reviewing the kit as to it's build quality and instructions, and not as to how the parts actually fit on the motor.That said, it is a nice kit with all parts being of appropriate materials and sturdiness, some seeminglycase hardened and blackened, builtto last for more than a few repair cycles.All the parts are organized in a good blow moulded case and the instructions show the function of each part individually without providing any reference to the actual repair operation, so again youtube or factory manual reference is essential to do the job correctly.

It has everything I needed to replace my timing chain. It's a great value for the money because now I can do it myself. It functions perfectly, as the pieces fit like they were supposed to and it has a decent build quality.

The tensioner tool broke on first use. Have a backup tool ready before stripping your engine down

... If I were to make judgment based solely on what I saw when I opened it and looked it over, I would certainly be able to rate it five stars. It looks complete. It looks well made and made with expertise. Everything looks to be in its place and should I come into any issues down the road when I have actually had the chance to install I will update.
