Makes hanging rain chains a piece of cake. As a matter of fact don't bother getting a rain chain unless you get this adapter too.

I'm a little concerned that the metal filter that was provided doesn't fit the device. That makes me think it's not going to fit my daughter either. Still it seems solidly made. Hoping for the best.

I am in love with rain chains! They are so beautiful and give an incredible sense of "Zen" when watching them! I have one on every down spout on my house. Most of them I've purchased from this company. I can say without a doubt, that this is an upstanding company and they stand behind their work. Now for the adapter... The chains work ok without the adapter but I always have had a hard time finding a place to hang it from. I finally just gave up and drilled a hole on the downspout with the most drips and rigged it that way. But these... they completely fix that problem by putting the chain strategically at a point to make the maximum water flow down the chain. They are super easy to install and get going. They are made of sturdy metal just like the chains as I don't expect a problem even years down the road.I give this item and the company a million stars! Thank you!

Finally a gutter adaptor for rain chains. It is sturdy and expectations it will last. Very happy with this.

This works perfectly with my rain chain and it fit into the gutter seamlessly. It has a piece to catch debris and a rod to hook the rain chain onto. No complaints!

Our original rain chains were installed the old-school way, and involved making a hole to hang them from. When I got a new set I saw that these adapters were now available. I'm here to tell you that they make installation so much simpler (and less damaging). This should just be sold with every set of chains. Recommend!

I have a really great rain chain and was hoping this connector might improve the flow of water down the chain from the gutter as we have some issues with pine needles getting in, even with leaf guards. Unfortunately our gutters are the standard aluminum gutters most homes have and are flat on the bottom. Using this with the rain chain had the opposite effect and actually restricted the flow of water due to how curved the metal is, and how flat our gutters are. This would work best if you have curved bottom gutters. They are not very common in my neck of the woods, but if you happen to live in a house that has curved gutters this would probably work well for you.

This adapter adds a finished look to installing a rain chain, rather than just hanging it from a hole in the gutter. The black finish looks great and it holds the rain chain secure
