These allow the handheld portable vacuum to work as it was designed to do. They are easy to clean. When cleaning is not enough to restore functionality, they are easy to replace.

These do not appear to be exact replacements for the model I have, which specifies VF110 filter. There are voids in the plastic housing in the form of slits, one of which is illustrated in the submitted picture. These voids will allow dust and dirt to bypass the filter and enter the motor area. Any dust entering the motor will eventually destroy it. The original VF110 filter on my unit does not have these slits. Other reviews talk about the lack of slits, required for a prefilter. My unit does not have a prefilter. Could not give it a zero rating. Waste of money. Went in the garbage. If Black and Decker literature incorrectly specified the model number of the filter for my unit, they need to fix it.

I bought this as a replacement for my filter for my BLACK+DECKER CHV1410L 16V Cordless Lithium Hand Vacuum and its a perfect replacement filter .No complaints and fits like a glove .I was worried as a few reviews mentioned that the openings were missing for the tabs to be locked and it was a defective model.. Maybe the company took note of it and is now shipping this after rectifying the fault .In any case i got the proper ones

The product pictured is NOT what the product looks like, which is a good thing because what I received was what was actually needed and not the product as pictured. Notice the photo I attached ... shows a somewhat flat bottom and a rounded top, which IS what the VF110 looks like. Also note that it will work with other B&D Hand vacuums not listed. Mine is the HHV1315JO32, which also uses the VF110 filter. This is a problem not only here, but with other vendors as well : The Product pictured often does not resemble the actual product. I find this to be the case at least 50% of the time, so it is wise to do some research before ordering. That said, it is a filter and it does what its supposed to. The price is great too, since the individual filter often costs twice the price for bulk. I ordered two packs (i.e. 10 filters) so will likely last the life of the vacuum if changed every 6 months as recommended. The original filter is washable, so I hope these are too. Appears to be the same material as the original. Will have to wait and see when its time to change, since I just bought my machine recently.
