Very large heavy boxes, check off parts all looks good. It’s a 2 person job to mount center guard. You get this all done and only a few more steps to go and bam! The radiator top bracket is 4” short. Another review mentioned this and Black Horse hasn’t fixed the problem. You have to install all the brackets loosely, then tighten, mark a frame hole to be drilled,remove a major part drill remount and tighten. With the wrong part supplied you cant finish or use your vehicle safely. Contacted Black Horse Off Road 4 times 2 to some out of country call center who are worthless. I want to keep the grill guard its very rugged looking, so I’m hoping the company will supply the right part and not put other purchasers in this situation. I’ll update this review one way or another.Update Black Horse finally answered with an email. They said I hadn’t assembled it right and they were right. Put lower bracket in wrong holes. Wish they could offer better customer service, it would have definitely helped in the installation. Back to those upper bracket’s shim them 3 washers on radiator side. I had to buy longer bolts to make it work. The hood just missed the bracket by 1/8 inch if you don’t. Also hood wouldn’t close without some remodeling of bracket.I like the looks of the grill let’s hope it last. Also with top tube of guard being so close to hood it’s really difficult to operate secoundary hood latch. I’ll change my rating to 3 stars . They need better customer service and refine the radiator support bracket.

The ad states that no drilling is required, but when one is attempting to install the guard the directions call for a hole to be drilled in the frame on the driver's and passenger's side for the placement of the second bolt that holds the mounting brackets for the guard itself. There are two bolts to hold the mounting brackets on each side of the frame, but one is to fit into a pre-drilled hole from the factory that is far larger in diameter than the bolt and could not possibly hold the guard securely if one struck a deer or other object. Also, there are two top brackets to secure the top of the guard to the radiator crossbar, but they are too short it has proven impossible to mount the guard to the provided brackets (on a 2017 3500 Mercedes Sprinter). And, finally, there are two headlight brush guards that are shown in the ad but there were no headlight guards in the container with the large guard and the items needed to secure the guard to the vehicle. The guard itself has been here for six days and no headlight guards have arrived in a separate box. Sending the guard back.

I wanted a brush guard that didn't completely obstruct the head lights while giving some wrap around protection. I wanted a brush guard that gave some screening to the radiator area too. The Black Horse Rugged grille guard seemed to provide that opportunity. I'm hoping having it means I never have to use it. :)Everything came in two boxes. The center section is in one box with the hardware. Not awfully heavy, but it is awkward to carry alone. Everything seemed well protected.I thought the instructions were good. Brackets were included for different Sprinter applications. Visually, they are different from each other. Thus, with the instructions that have printed pictures, it was easy to identify which parts could be set aside. Some of the brackets are mirror images of each other, and they have markings on them so that one knows which side they go on.Install went smoothly. The instructions talked about possibly having to remove the coolant bottle to install a "Z-bracket", but I was able to install that part without temporarily removing the DEF fill or coolant bottle.Installed, it looks nice. My neighbor loves how it follows the Sprinter body line. The welded on brackets for lights are a nice addition. There are also additional brackets and hardware provided to install a long LED light between those brackets.Great value for the money.

Misleading! Lightbar not included as stated in listing. Paying for "Prime" and getting eBay garbage! Goodbye Prime!
