Deceptive description. The description says that it would work with my oven but it doesn’t come with the proper adapter. Returned.

Thankfully, fixed the F1 error on my 20 year old Jenn Air range. Easily replaced in 15 minutes. Oven even seems to heat up to temp faster. The other F1 issue may have been the $400 control panel. Phew! Lucky me.

In spite of being advertised to fit a Whirlpool oven the shipped part was not the same size and there were no electrical connectors that fit the wiring of the oven. In short it was useless!

Idk if it fixed my issue, but for the price I'm sure it helped my range oven keep proper temps. I did replace the heating element with this the same day. I feel they play a part together. Cheap fixes, better than buying new oven for hundreds.

To fix my oven and it worked

I have a Jenn-Air double oven from the mid 90s and the lower oven started giving an F2 error code. Given the age of the oven, I started looking into a new one. Given the high price tag of a new oven, I did some research and found that it could be the temperature sensor. Some other reviews for this product validated that a new sensor could fix the problem, so it was worth $10 to see if it worked. The replacement was very easy as it took longer to go get a screwdriver than it did to do the actual job. The kit came with different connectors, so the replacement was very easy. After installation, turned on the oven and it holds the correct temperature with no calibration needed.

Used on Jennair W256C. The wire connectors fit correctly without using one of the two supplied adapters. The connection was too loose so I used two small cable ties to secure the connectors together so that if I ever need to extract the wire again the connectors would not separate and leave one side stranded behind the oven.I tested the new sensor at 200F and the oven temperature agreed with my two thermometers. I then went to 350F and initially the oven temperature agreed with the thermometers until the oven showed an F4 code which indicates either a short or open temperature sensor circuit. I removed the new temperature sensor (see cable ties) reinstalled the old unit and retested. The old unit performed as it had previously (slightly inaccurate) and did not cause an F4 code.I do not recommend this product.

My oven works perfectly now. Such an easy fix that saved us from buying a new stove.

Worked well. Maytag stove was throwing an F1 code after a self cleaning cycle and the oven would not work. Same code came up a number of times as I tested it out in the garage, touch board control problem, and could not find a replacement. Then as I was about to give up on it I tried it one more time and an f3 code showed instead, stove thermostat problem. Replaced the thermostat and all is well.
