Easy instructions the item worked as promised not sure if I did a good job on it Iād rather send it into a professional but it saved me lots of money over by a new speaker system I recommend the process and the company as they tried to help me find another company to send my speakers to have them redo them.

I was nervous taking this project on but thought it was worth a try before replacing the sub unit. Instructions and materials worked great. Be patient with the drying. Sub is working like new.

I just bought a 2002 BMW Z3, sub-woofer blown. It was the outside foam rubber ring that was cracked and falling apart. After 2 hours, the new foam ring was securely glued on.. Back in the car..Repair kit worked very well.. Stereo sound now sounds great! Bass back the way it should be..

The edge of my BMW car subwoofer and main woofers were all rotted away within a couple years. All I got for sound was buzzing and rattling noise and zero bass.Fifteen years later I peeled off all the dried up crud on the paper speaker cones until it was clean and then glued these new rubber edges back on to make the speakers function perfectly again with no rubbing or noise.Presto! My speakers work at least as well as the day the car was made. Now if I get sick of the limited factory sound at least I know what will fit in there because I took it all apart to fix it and measured all the holes.I looked on the internet for instructions on how to take my car apart and it was easy.A couple of plastic screws didn't go back on tight as once you take things off they never fit perfect again.Nobody but me will ever know and the upholstery is plenty tight enough to last another fifteen years. What an interesting cost effective way to gets some great sounds again for peanuts money wise...Thanks to whoever makes this product.Go ahead and try it yourself. If you screw up you can still take the whole mess to a car stereo shop and not lose a cent for trying. The price is so low you have nothing to lose and lots of good experience to gain including what might fit if you start with new speakers later.Good show!

Bought a 2000 BMW Z3 with a bad subwoofer. Getting a replacement is difficult and if you do find the unit (box/speaker) it'll cost you hundreds of dollars. Did some research and thought I could re-foam..resuspend etc. the speaker since the cone seemed in good shape. I stumbled on this kit and it worked great. This is my first time tying something like this. The hardest part was removing the old glue and suspension but it wasn't that hard. The instructions are clear and well laid out. Within two hours (waiting for the glue to dry) I had my speaker back in the car and sounding great. For $20 you can't wrong. Just watch a video or two and take your time.

Used on my 2000 M Roadster. Installation was straightforward, and the YouTube video was very helpful. My sub sounds like new! Hopefully it will hold up over time - it does seem quite durable. Very happy so-far!
