This exhaust system is perfect for my truck. Deep throaty growl without being obnoxiously loud. The truck now sounds like the trucks from the 70's. Install was very easy, approximately 1.5hrs. I bought the hanger removal tool which made the removal of the old exhaust much faster. I would recommend that you purchase a new exhaust clamp where the new exhaust connects to the third cat. There is a good chance that the clamp bolt will break when removing. All in all, excellent system. Quality construction, perfect fit.

Put this on my 2017 Silverado and it’s a new truck! The sound is amazing. I also added a new air intake and throttle body, between the three the horsepower increase feels incredible.I used ramps to do the install, if that’s you plan have a sawzall or grinder ready to take out the stock exhaust, make it easy on yourself and cut on both sides of the axle first before undoing anything. The other thing is make sure you don’t tighten down the clamps before you set the correct position on the left side, lots of complaints that the drivers side doesn’t match - that’s because they jumped the gun and tightened down before that was set. Simple rotation and elevate the over axle pipe will set it perfectly.This kit is worth every penny and the whole job took me 2-3hrs, if you cut the stock exhaust out first you can be done in under 2 hours.Good luck and hope you enjoy yours as much as I’m enjoying mine!

It is a good exhaust with a deep tone. It wasn't as loud as i expected. I know it will get a little louder with time. Living in the city with close neighbors it is a good exhaust. Install was a breeze took about an hour and a half. Do yourself a favor and buy a clamp to go on the back of the catalytic converter. They say to reuse it. My silverado is a 2017 and slightly rusted. It snapped the nut off as soon as i put pressure on it. In a couple years i will be moving to the country and going with the atak.

Installation was not bad... put the back end of the truck on jack stands, loosened the clamp on the existing cat back factory exhaust, used an exhaust hanger removal tool to pop the exhaust out and pulled the whole factory exhaust out toward the front of the truck. Make sure the jacks are on the frame so the back suspension can hang all the way down to allow the easy removal. Then I worked from front to back installing the new S-Type exhaust. Took about an hour but I did it all myself with no help. The sound of this exhaust is great. Cold start sounds aggressive but then at normal idle it's nothing that will bother neighbors. Getting into it driving down the road is great. It is definitely more noticeable inside the cab than videos show but I can still have a conversation and under normal driving with a little music you hardly notice anything. Overall I am pleased with this but if I had one small gripe it would be that the tips aren't perfectly even on each side. I am being really picky on this one but I struggled between the dual exit with one on each side vs the same side. If they were out the same side there would not have been this very slight uneven look.Ultimately I am happy with my choice and it looks and sounds great. My truck finally sounds like it has a V8 with American power.

Installed this cat-back system last night. Did it in my driveway with a pair of car ramps under the back tires. Got the stock exhaust out in one piece with the help of my son. The install went super easy. All in all done in a couple hours with a few hand tools. The written instructions that come with the system could be better with clearer pictures but there are plenty of how to videos online that make the install simple enough to do. I had considered paying a local shop to do it but I'm glad I didn't. One thing that does make my perfectionism bristle is that both pipes don't sit at exactly the same spot in relation to the tires. One is closer to the tire than the other. Like an inch difference.Now for the sound.. What can I say, when I fired it up I was grinning ear to ear. It has exactly the sound I was looking for. Not too obnoxious and not too quiet. A perfect blend in my book. As to the "drone"? I can't comment on that yet. I've only had it up to about 55 and when V4 kicked in it was barely noticeable. Granted I have a 2018 Sierra with an extremely quiet cab. But even with the windows down it's barely there. With that said I did ordered an afm disabler to keep the truck in V8 at all times but I had planned on doing that anyway as I can feel when the truck drops into V4 and it annoys me.Overall I'm very happy with this system and can definitely recommend to anyone looking for a little more growl from their exhaust. And let's face it.. It looks pretty damn cool too!Just wanted to update.. I've driven it now on the interstate at highway speeds. Is the exhaust noticeable at higher speeds? Yes, but it's a performance exhaust that's meant to be louder than stock. I like it. It sounds like a truck should sound now! I also received the afm disabler and with it there's no V4 chop.

Drone big time on 2014 Chevrolet Silverado when truck goes in V4 or V6 mood. Has a good sound from start up or when accelerating vehicle. I've waited to see if my opinion would change but it hasn't. I've had exhaust on for almost four months. I plan on removing and replacing with factory system. Wasted my money!

Delivered way earlier than expected. It does require cut about an inch at the end of the muffler pipe (not the exhaust tip) to fit my 2016 Silverado z71 double cab. I have the k&n cold air intake also and the combo sounds really nice together compared to the stock exhaust system. Sounds like a helicopter ONLY around 65 cruising in v4... If it wasn't for this I would've given 5 star. The stainless dual exhaust look is way better than stock.
