I knew I would need a big spade bit to make holes big enough to put the electrical plug from appliances through the side wall of the shelving, And this did the job perfectly, It also helped with air-flow letting heat out &/or cool air go in

I bought this to drill out candles for my wedding centrepieces, and it worked very well. Will be keeping it in my tools, and odds are if I need to get a different size, I’d look at another one of the same.

Needed to drill a couple of holes in kitchen floor, that is 2 1/4” thick. This bit hooked up to my Milwaukee 1/2” drill made short work of the job. Topside hole.was very clean and pretty smooth. Bottom hole was a little jagged, but not bad. I would buy this bit again.

Excelente producto.

These Spade drill bits wear out just by being looked at funny. I prefer these self feeding bits because they last a little bit longer and continue to make holes after the bit has gone dull. Trying to drill a hole with any other dull bit is a lost cause. The only down side is when they're sharp the hole isn't very clean and the exit hole is worse. I wouldn't try drilling a stack of plywood sheets with these unless you really don't care where the hold ends up.These work best if you have to drill a hole at an awkward angle.

Total junk, i'm glad i didn't buy the whole set, way too dangerous & of course the Chinese crappy steal, 3 test holes & one of the edges is already curved, very disappointed of Bosch!!!!! My Hitachi set is way better, the only reason i bought this is because i needed one bigger than 1in, which was not included in the other bit set.

These drill bits are so aggressive that it's easy to lose control of the drill depending on what kind of wood you're drilling into.Probably great for the right application but if you're drilling into something that's not bolted down it can get crazy.

I used this to bore through some wood drawers and it just ripped right through. I would definitely buy this brand again because I have used many different brands of bit and few perform as well as this one.

This is one solidly engineered tool! Simply put if your goal is to create a hole through wood quickly, this is your bit. If your goal is to drill to a certain depth and stop, this might not be your first choice. The center screw bites quickly and pulls the bit into the wood without the ability to control the speed. This could be dangerous if you don't have a good grip on your drill or the proper leverage like hanging off a ladder or working in an awkward position. If I was using a corded drill and was drilling through studs in a house this would be my first choice hands down. I was using it to drill through driftwood only an inch or two then stopping and its impossible.TIP- If you need to slow the bit take a grinder and take down the edges of the screw piece slightly and you will still have a sharp fast bit but will have control over the speed.

I got this bit to make holes in fresh pine log. This bit really works. The only thing i had to do it bring my corded drill. Battery on my portable drill is too weak.

This bit went above and beyond my expectations. Easy to use, stays sharp, saved me a lot of time. It is not a hole saw so you need to be careful of doing damage depending on the type of material you are cutting. What a great addition to my tool box.
